Lego lovers in Turkey will love this news! Second Lego Store of İstanbul Anatholian side, third Store of İstanbul and fifth in Turkey (if I know it right). This Store also holds the title of 500th in the world.
Lego Store opened on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 15:00. I can say that the confluence took place inside the moment it opened. To celebrate the opening some Lego sets have a 20% discount and surprise gifts on 21-22 September.
Although we have announced the news on the second day of the opening, you can also benefit from this ongoing event. Now that there are three in Istanbul, we expect the Lego Store to be slowly opened in other provinces. We wish success to the new Store and its employees :).
What is a Lego Store?
Speaking of which, let’s have a little chat :). Lego Store is a Lego retailer that is opened by or licensed by Lego. The most important feature that distinguishes these shops from others is that some sets are only available in Lego Stores or sold in the first Lego Stores 10-15 days before other stores.
The first thing that catches your attention in Lego Stores is probably the Lego pieces in the glass lanterns behind the CR’s. This field is called “Pick-a-Brick Wall”. You can fill large or small plastic cups with as many parts as you can for a fee. Although not every piece you want is available, you can buy the Lego pieces with the lowest cost per piece from this wall.
In Lego Stores, which have more or less the same design, you will see sets in showcases and is displayed in the store. These sets are purchased by Lego lovers and left to the store for display. Although I respect the support of Lego Store, I cannot understand why a person would give money and ask for the set to be exhibited elsewhere: D. But still, seeing a Lego set built is a good thing to give other customers a nice insight.
