The modular set of 2020 has finally been announced, I don’t know if the news announced on LEGO’s French Facebook page was planned or accidental. But I don’t think it’s a leak because it’s official.
According to the news, the new set has 2504 pieces. We see a house attracting attention with its colors and a bookstore next to it. The tree in front of the bookstore is remarkable. There’s a lingering model airplane on it. It also attracts attention of single piece birds attached in. If I’m not mistaken, there’s a bird’s nest on the tree. “BIRCH BOOK” on the bookstore sign is one of the word games we are used to seeing in LEGO sets. On the windows of the library, there is a piece of arch with a bar, which we were used to use it on top of doors. The Curved Tiles’ roof decoration technique reminded me Corner Garage. The piece, which was previously seen as a cross-floor decoration in the 31065 set, was used as an ornament on the top and left of the library. The fences on the roof of the library are made of black skeleton pillars.
The color of the building on the right is really eye-catching. The spiral staircase leading to the entrance door half way above has been very nice. The stair railings are very stylish. The trans-clear parts on the door resemble the Brick Bank set. And the windows reminds me the Pet-Shop set.
Another similarity of the set with the Pet-Shop is that it is based on two 16×32 baseplates. This means that we will be able to display the buildings in the order we want. The roof of the turquoise building is pleasing to the eye. Good reason to buy the set. I was really curious about the roof technique. Pastel colors in front of the building add a nice detail to the flowers.
As seen from the photos, there are 4 minifigures, one of which is a child. Minifigures have not had a standard face since the Diner set. They have special expressions. In this set also they come across with special expressions.
We need to wait until January to reach the set. It was a beautiful building that needed to be taken and added to the city. Thanks LEGO 🙂
I wish everyone an awesome day 🙂
